After seven years of photographing Lake Sammamish, I find myself drawn to experimentation. By pushing Intentional Camera Movement beyond its more recognizable forms, I've been exploring images that move further into abstraction, where color, light, and gesture become the primary subjects. The lake's ever-changing reflections have also become a source of fascination. Working with both slow and fast shutter speeds, I explore how water transforms light, creating images that range from subtle impressions to entirely abstract compositions. Even after all these years, the lake continues to surprise me.
